Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups vanilla pudding (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced Feel free to substitute with other berries.
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries Feel free to substitute with other berries.
  • 1 cup whipped cream Homemade is best, but store-bought works too.
  • 1 package ladyfinger cookies or pound cake Optional but recommended for extra texture.
  • to taste fresh mint leaves for garnish Optional for decoration.

Method

Assembly
  1. Start with your trifle dish or a large glass bowl and layer half of the ladyfingers (if you're using them) at the bottom. Make it nice and even.
  2. Spread half of the vanilla pudding over the ladyfingers, smoothing it out gently.
  3. Layer half of the sliced strawberries and blueberries over the pudding, creating a vibrant color contrast.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients: ladyfingers, pudding, and berries.
  5. Top it off with a generous dollop of whipped cream, spreading it all the way to the edges for that professional touch.
  6. If you’re feeling fancy, garnish with fresh mint leaves for a refreshing hint of flavor and a splash of color.
  7. Allow it to sit in the fridge for at least one hour. This chilling period lets the flavors meld beautifully.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container and consume within two days. Layered desserts can get soggy over time, so enjoy while fresh!
