Crust
  • 1 pre-made graham cracker crust Store-bought or homemade
Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Bring to room temperature for easier mixing
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Adjust sweetness to your liking
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Pure extract works best
  • 1 cup whipped cream Or whipped topping
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Optional, but adds a delightful zing
Topping
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced Feel free to swap with other berries

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, start by beating the softened cream cheese until it’s velvety smooth.
  2. Gradually incorporate the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped cream until fully blended.
  4. Layer half of the sliced strawberries evenly at the bottom of your prepared graham cracker crust.
  5. Spoon half of the cream cheese mixture over the strawberries, smoothing it out.
  6. Repeat the layering with the remaining strawberries and cream mixture.
  7. Cover the pie and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  8. Garnish with additional whipped cream and fresh strawberry slices before serving.

Notes

For the best texture, enjoy within the first day or two. Freezing is not recommended due to texture changes.
