Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a pie dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until combined.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, beating until smooth and cohesive.
  5. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pie dish and spread evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  2. Allow to cool for a few moments before slicing and serving.
