- In a large pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced chicken sausage to the pan. Cook until it’s beautifully browned.
- Toss in the minced garlic and stir for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
- Add the orzo and pour in the chicken broth. Bring this mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Cook the orzo for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and most of the broth is absorbed.
- In the last few minutes of cooking, stir in the broccoli florets.
- Stir in the grated parmesan cheese and season generously with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm and enjoy every creamy bite!
Notes
For variations, consider substituting chicken sausage with turkey sausage or adding sun-dried tomatoes. Also great paired with a crisp salad or garlic bread.
