  • 2 cups cooked rice

  1. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Add minced garlic and ground beef, breaking up the meat with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes (if using). Let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice, topped with freshly sliced green onions.

Notes

For added flavor, consider serving with lime juice or pickled vegetables. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
