Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, cooked rice, breadcrumbs, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well until blended.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them in a baking dish.
- Scatter broccoli florets around the meatballs if using.
- Drizzle additional honey and soy sauce if desired.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil, add shredded cheese if you’re feeling indulgent, and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
Serve with a fresh side salad or steamed vegetables. For extra flavor, drizzle sesame oil on top or sprinkle with chopped scallions or toasted sesame seeds before serving.
