  • 1 pound ground meat (beef, chicken, or turkey) Choose based on preference.
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup broccoli florets Optional for added nutrients.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Optional for topping.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, cooked rice, breadcrumbs, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well until blended.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them in a baking dish.
  4. Scatter broccoli florets around the meatballs if using.
  5. Drizzle additional honey and soy sauce if desired.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil, add shredded cheese if you’re feeling indulgent, and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.

Notes

Serve with a fresh side salad or steamed vegetables. For extra flavor, drizzle sesame oil on top or sprinkle with chopped scallions or toasted sesame seeds before serving.
