  • 1/4 cup honey Adjust for sweetness preference
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Stir until the mixture is well blended.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet, seasoning lightly with salt and pepper. If your skillet isn’t large enough, cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.
Cooking
  1. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp turns pink and opaque.
  2. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes, allowing those flavors to meld.
Serving
  1. Serve it over a bed of steamed rice or alongside your favorite vegetables.

Notes

Best served freshly cooked. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For a nice presentation, garnish with sesame seeds or sliced green onions.
