Preparation

- In another bowl, combine the oats and chopped nuts to create the crunchy topping.
Baking
- In a baking dish, layer the apple mixture first, then sprinkle the oat and nut mixture on top.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the apples are tender and the topping turns a golden brown.
Serving
- Serve warm with a generous dollop of yogurt or milk, or scoop on some ice cream.
Notes
For added flavor, try adding a tablespoon of lemon juice to the apples. You can also swap out honey for maple syrup for a vegan alternative. Feel free to add nutmeg or allspice for extra warmth.
