Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-low heat. Toss in sliced onions, letting them cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until caramelized and golden. Add salt and pepper to taste, then set aside.
- Slice the sweet dinner rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected at the back.
- On a baking sheet, place the bottom half of the rolls and layer half of the cheddar cheese slices evenly over them.
- Spread barbecue sauce over the cheese and arrange the sliced roast beef evenly over the sauce. Add caramelized onions on top.
- Add the remaining cheddar cheese slices and place the top halves of the rolls over everything.
- Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with everything-style seasoning.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and tops are lightly golden.
- Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers wrapped tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil in the fridge for up to three days. For longer storage, wrap well and freeze. Reheat in the oven at 350°F until warm.
