Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Boneless and skinless
  • 8 oz egg noodles Can substitute with whole wheat or gluten-free
  • 3 tablespoons butter Divided
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish (optional) Freshly chopped

Method

Cooking the Chicken
  1. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes on each side. Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Sautéing Garlic
  1. In that same skillet, add the remaining butter along with the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about a minute or two.
Creating the Sauce
  1. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a gentle simmer.
Cooking Noodles
  1. Add the egg noodles to the skillet and cook them according to the package instructions, stirring occasionally, until they reach that perfect al dente texture.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Once the noodles are cooked, return the chicken to the skillet. Mix everything together so that the flavors coat both the chicken and the noodles.
Garnishing and Serving
  1. Sprinkle some freshly chopped parsley on top before serving. Enjoy!
