Ingredients
  

Cream Mixture
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese Can be substituted with cream cheese.
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup lemon curd Use fresh or store-bought.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For Soaking and Garnish
  • 1 cup lemon juice For soaking the ladyfingers.
  • 1 package ladyfinger cookies
  • lemon zest For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, lemon curd, and vanilla extract. Whisk until silky smooth and creamy.
  2. Quickly dip the ladyfinger cookies in lemon juice for a moment to soak but do not let them become soggy.
  3. Layer the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of your serving dish.
  4. Spread half of the lemon mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers followed by the remaining lemon mascarpone mixture.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Before serving, garnish with fresh lemon zest.

Notes

For a charming touch, serve in individual cups. Pair with whipped cream or fresh berries. For storage, cover tightly and refrigerate for up to three days.
