- If using fresh strawberries, hull them and cut them in half. Frozen berries can be used directly from the freezer.
- In a blender, combine the strawberries, milk kefir, water, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the oats and flaxseeds. Pour the blended strawberry mixture over the oats, ensuring they are evenly coated. Allow to sit for about 10 minutes to soak before gently re-blending or stirring to get the mixture creamy.
- Divide the mixture into mason jars or airtight containers for grab-and-go breakfast.
- Refrigerate overnight (or at least for 4 hours) before serving. Give a quick stir before enjoying.
Notes
Add toppings like sliced almonds, yogurt, or fresh mint for extra flavor. Store leftovers in airtight containers, best consumed within 5 days without added toppings.
